Star TrekStephen Klancher: February 24, 2008 TNG's Q was totally based on the Trelane character! God-like but a playful interest in humans... the judge scene... "I object to you I object to intellect without discipline I object to power without constructive purpose" -Spock "Fascinating is a word I use for the unexpected, in this case I should think, interesting should suffice." -Spock Stephen Klancher: April 27, 2008 Killing androids with illogical behavior makes this an incredible episode. Stephen Klancher: September 7, 2008 Spock + Bones episode! Also the Tholian Web looks like the thing Q did in the first episode of TNG. Stephen Klancher: September 14, 2008 I didn't get to see the last 5 minutes of this episode and would like to. I've seen right up to the moment where Spock encounters two Kirks and must choose. Stephen Klancher: September 13, 2008 Riddler from old Batman was in this. Silly but ok episode. But when the camera did the rapid zoom back and forth on the red alert light each time it just reminded me that Season 3 is when (and I'm sure, why) Star Trek got canceled. Stephen Klancher: September 14, 2008 Interesting for the extreme over-population scenario, but their plan did not make sense to me. Stephen Klancher: September 12, 2008 The dialog in this episode is so disjointed. Spock's comments were funny at first, but eventually they don't sound like a real character in a real situation. Even for a Vulcan. Every line just a garish "Look, he's a Vulcan"-line. Some funny Scotty but overall this was a terrible episode. Stephen Klancher: September 16, 2008 Space hippies! Why the hell did they do things like this to Star Trek. Seeing Spock rock out with them was almost worth it though. Stephen Klancher: September 16, 2008 I'll say this for TOS: if your plots have to start getting more and more outrageous, having the main characters fight alongside President Lincoln is pretty much the best way to go. Stephen Klancher: September 16, 2008 While not a great episode, I'm glad I liked the final ep more than the most of the third season. Spock's loyalty is what made this fun to watch. Spock: "I am a logical man."
McCoy: "It'll take more than logic to get us out of this."
Spock: "Perhaps Doctor, but I know no better way to begin."
