Battlestar GalacticaStephen Klancher ...has seen 73 ...has seen 1.2 hours ...has not seen 0 hours Timeline Most Recent: Daybreak (1) First Unseen: Daybreak: Part 3 (# 74) Stephen Klancher: November 9, 2009 This episode did a great job of immediately throwing them into an impossibly stressful situation. They looked brutally haggard waiting for the next 33 minute jump interval. Stephen Klancher: November 9, 2009 Split personality Boomer was pretty interesting (also she's hot... probably going to keep saying that...). Stephen Klancher: November 9, 2009 Nicely established Apollo as a stronger character as he bridges the gap between military and civil government. Stephen Klancher: December 5, 2009 Shortly before watching this I spent $210 at BevMo. I'm looking back at the episode to remember what I watched... Very tense emotions between Starbuck and Adama. Well acted. Stephen Klancher: December 5, 2009 Starbuck is awesome. The moment when she flipped her wings and showed it was her was amazing. Stephen Klancher: December 5, 2009 Everybody knows Cylons look like humans! The tribunal thing was played well. Especially the tense moment when Adama shut it down. "Make your choice, son." The exchange between the Chief and Adama was also very cool. Stephen Klancher: December 5, 2009 It's a hilarious moment when Gaius and the viewer realize that Number Six is a real person standing there and not the Cylon in his head. Stephen Klancher: December 13, 2009 Seemed like there were a lot of parts where I was asking "Why are they doing that?" in context of character motivation and consistency rather than interest. Stephen Klancher: December 13, 2009 XO McCain got his wife back, but I called it... frame her as a Cylon, then reveal that no, she's just that terrible of a human. Stephen Klancher: December 19, 2009 Ah, yes, Zarek would have to return. Oh man... Caprica Boomer killed another Boomer and now Helo knows... I'm pretty much of the mind that the more Boomers that are in this show, the more I will like it. Also Gaius as VP, wtf? Stephen Klancher: December 19, 2009 The first few minutes of this episode were kind of crazy and amzing... bad times for both Boomers... Helo and, "Just cleaning my gun." Stephen Klancher: December 19, 2009 Oh god, Cylon babies. That may or may not be interesting, but the lead up has been fun. The arrest of the president was a very cool tense scene. Ahhh, army of Boomers! They're just reading my mind and putting it up on the screen. The more Boomers the better. And now everyone knows... those last few moments of the episode were amazing. Very fun season finale. Stephen Klancher: December 21, 2009 lol firewalls. Oops they jumped to the wrong place and lost the whole rest of the human race... Stephen Klancher: January 12, 2010 The tension of the divided fleet and having another Boomer on Galactica made for a good episode. Stephen Klancher: January 12, 2010 The journalist angle of this episode was done really well. They did a good job of making the scenes look like she was catching candid moments and interviews amidst the seriousness of everything. Stephen Klancher: SEEN watched 2009-01-15 I insisted to friends that we not play the BSG board game until their would be no spoilers. Because the game had a Resurrection Ship in it, we watched this two part episode and then tried the game. Stephen Klancher: January 18, 2010 I like the idea of attibuting personality and will to live to the Cylon Raiders. And a pilot rivalry is always kinda fun. Stephen Klancher: February 2, 2010 Whoa, Gaius, VP isn't good enough. And Pegasus leadership is constantly boned. Primary main character is the only way to keep that role from getting killed a fourth time. Stephen Klancher: February 2, 2010 Amazing! We love you Sharon! hehe. Very interesting perspective shift. And Gaius in Six's mind, what?! Cool episode. Stephen Klancher: February 2, 2010 Quantum Leap guy being a Cylon messenger was great. The year of Baltar later was an unexpected jump forward. Should be interesting. Stephen Klancher: February 8, 2010 A normal episode was very welcome after watching the useless webisodes. Stephen Klancher: February 15, 2010 This and the previous 11 episodes were watched as part of an epic BSG/Chick-Fil-A marathon. Stephen Klancher: March 7, 2010 Nice new intro... Gaius becomes more Jesusy... Kara is back and already pointing a gun a the president. Stephen Klancher: March 7, 2010 The Cylon voting thing was interesting... one voted against her model. Centurions don't get a vote... Making them self aware seems like a terrible idea. Stephen Klancher: March 13, 2010 "I've thought about you every day since that moment I died in your arms." Not many characters get to say something like that. Also she is psychotic. Starbuck playing the Cylon song was cool. Stephen Klancher: March 13, 2010 Anders the hybrid... I love listening to the hybrid crazy. I want him to freak out and jump the ship. So... Starbuck is not a Cylon but did resurrect. Not explaining things that have been building for a long time is cool. Except not. Also Tigh has amazing surprised facial expressions. Stephen Klancher: March 13, 2010 Most of the scenes from before the fall of Caprica did not add anything worthwhile. The ones with Gaius and Six humanized and made their relationship seem like it had some reality to it, but still Gaius has been all over the place as a character. Adama giving the "Make Your Choice!" speech is still a pretty cool thing. Powerful voice and cool character. Stephen Klancher: March 13, 2010 Still mostly uninterested in the scenes from before the fall of Caprica. But Galactica's ship battle was very cool, and I liked seeing Gaius fighting. Seeing the opera scene finally play out was cool because it had been built up for seasons at this point... especially as they looked up and saw the five. Kally/Chief/Tory ruined the peace, but oh well. Cavil's reaction was amusing but made no sense. The music has been amazing throughout the series and this episode even more so. Ultimately there were a lot of things not answered and that was frustrating, but the series was still cool. Watched an episode not known by IMDb? |
